Yi East er en moderne asiatisk restaurant i centrum af Aarhus. Vi søger en fuldtids tjener til vores front-of-house team.

Du bliver en del af et mindre team og skal være med til at give gæsterne en imødekommende og professionel oplevelse.

Dine primære arbejdsopgaver:

• Tage imod gæster og yde venlig og opmærksom betjening
• Præsentere menuen og komme med anbefalinger
• Tage imod bestillinger og servere mad og drikke
• Håndtere betalinger og betjene kassesystem/POS
• Samarbejde med køkken og bar i travle perioder
• Dække op, rydde af og holde restauranten ren og pæn
• Hjælpe med enkel tilberedning af drikkevarer (softdrinks, vin, enkle cocktails)

Arbejdstid og ansættelse

• Stillings type: Fuldtid
• Arbejdstid: ca. 37 timer om ugen
• Arbejdet ligger på aftener og weekender efter vagtplan.

Om dig

Vi forventer, at du:

• Har mindst 1 års erfaring som tjener eller i en lignende servicefunktion
• Trives i et travlt restaurantmiljø
• Er mødestabil, ansvarsbevidst og service minded
• Kan arbejde selvstændigt og som en del af et team
• Går op i detaljer, orden og rengøring
• Det er en fordel, hvis du har erfaring med at lave drikkevarer eller cocktails

About the job

Yi East is a modern Asian restaurant in the centre of Aarhus. We are looking for a full-time waiter/waitress to join our front-of-house team.

You will help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure a smooth and professional service.

Main tasks:

• Welcoming guests and providing friendly, attentive service
• Presenting the menu and making recommendations
• Taking orders and serving food and drinks
• Handling payments and using the POS system
• Coordinating with the kitchen and bar during busy service
• Setting and clearing tables and keeping the restaurant clean and tidy
• Assisting with simple drink preparation (soft drinks, wine, simple cocktails)

Working hours and employment

• Position: Full-time
• Working hours: approx. 37 hours per week
• Work includes evenings and weekends according to a shift schedule.

About you

We expect that you:

• Have at least 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role
• Are comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment
• Are punctual, responsible and service-minded
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Pay attention to cleanliness and details
• It is an advantage if you have experience with making drinks or cocktails
