La Cabra is looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of Wholesale to lead our growing wholesale department, managing relationships with some of the world’s leading specialty coffee professionals and guiding our global wholesale strategy.
This is a key leadership role within our commercial team, responsible for driving growth, nurturing relationships, and ensuring La Cabra’s values of quality, curiosity, and transparency are carried through every client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop La Cabra’s wholesale strategy across both established and emerging markets.
Manage and mentor the wholesale team (currently three members) to deliver excellent client service, outreach, and education.
Maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring alignment with La Cabra’s brand and quality standards.
Oversee onboarding and ongoing support of international distributors and franchise partners.
Collaborate with the Roastery and Production teams to align demand forecasting and client fulfillment.
Work closely with Marketing and Operations to identify growth opportunities and strengthen brand presence in new markets.
Represent La Cabra at international coffee events, trade shows, and client visits.
Head of wholesale 1
Track performance metrics, reporting on sales, retention, and pipeline development to management.
Ideal Candidate
4–6 years’ experience in specialty coffee or premium F&B wholesale, with proven success in sales or client leadership roles.
Deep understanding of the specialty coffee industry, including green coffee sourcing, roasting, and café operations.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to represent La Cabra authentically to partners across cultures.
Strategic thinker with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
Experience managing teams and projects across multiple regions.
Fluent in English; additional languages, especially Danish, are an advantage.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
