About Us
Viegand Maagøe is a consultancy with green transition as its core expertise. Our specialists cover all aspects of the green transition, and together we create holistic solutions that deliver value for both our clients and society.
We support our clients with everything from technical solutions, financing, management, and strategy to communication and digital solutions. We are 130 employees, with our main offices in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
Within the Industry Department, we work across the entire energy optimisation value chain, including:
- Mapping and analyses
- Roadmaps
- Feasibility studies
- Project development and implementation
Once the right projects are identified, we bring them to life. Examples include:
- Royal Unibrew, where we supported the establishment of a large heat recovery system across the brewery in Faxe
- HOFOR and Novozymes (now Novonesis), where we helped establish a heat pump plant utilising surplus heat from the factory in Copenhagen
We take pride in staying curious about new technologies entering the market—such as energy storage, renewable energy systems, carbon capture, and high-temperature heat pumps—to provide our clients with the best possible advice. As part of this effort, we are involved in several research and development projects.
