You will be part of the Research Group for Risk-Benefit at The National Food Institute at The Technical University of Denmark. We offer an ambitious, dynamic and sociable research environment with lots of exciting challenges and opportunities.

The job
You will work in a multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for data collection and handling in relation to human health impact assessments and participate in all phases of an intervention study among Danish school children (and their parents). The work will involve:

  • Conducting systematic reviews
  • Data extraction in relation to prevalence, incidence, mortality
  • Writing scientific reports
  • Reviewing and summarizing scientific opinions
  • Identification and handling of data in relation to health-based risk-benefit assessments
  • Extracting detailed information from human observation and animal studies
  • Collecting biological samples and quantitative data

Our expectations of you
We expect that you have a Master in the area of life science, health promotion, human nutrition, or equivalent.

The candidate we seek:

  • has practical experience with human intervention studies and with human health impact assessments
  • has practical experience with conducting systematic reviews and data extraction
  • has knowledge within health-based risk-benefit assessments
  • is ambitious and capable of working independently
  • takes responsibility for progress and quality of results
  • thrives on multidisciplinary collaboration
  • speaks and writes English and masters the Danish language in speech

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.

Starting date is 1 February 2026 (or as soon as possible thereafter). The position is a full-time permanent position.

The Research Group for Risk-Benefit performs quantitative health impact assessments of foods and dietary patterns, develops new and improved methods of performing risk-benefit assessments and conducts real-life intervention studies to promote health among vulnerable groups.
