Inventory Worker - Offshore Equipment
Get hands-on with offshore equipment and use your technical skills to make an impact together with your team
At Modern American Recycling Services Europe, you will be part of the daily operations where offshore components arrive, are assessed, and sent further into the system. You will join a workplace focused on reuse and recycling. This role is for you if you thrive in an active environment and enjoy applying your technical knowledge in practice.
We work with the dismantling and recycling of offshore structures and are known for high quality, safety, and integrity. This applies both to our resale products and to our workplace in general.
What’s in it for you and why you’ll love working here
- A workday where you handle offshore components directly, not just the paperwork
- A role in the flow of operations, where offshore components continuously arrive and need to be handled, assessed, and prepared for resale
- The opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and sound judgment in practice, with responsibility and trust to determine what can be sold and where your assessments have a direct impact on both customers and the company
- A workplace with pace, where things move quickly without getting chaotic
- Good colleagues, proper working conditions, and competitive pay
- Opportunities for professional development in a growing industry
Your daily tasks will include
- Receiving and inspecting incoming offshore components
- Identifying and describing products in our sales system
- Assessing the condition of items and deciding whether they should be resold or reused.
- Collecting and managing technical documentation for customers
- Organizing and maintaining the warehouse
- Performing regular inventory spot checks
- The workday combines physical work, technical assessments, and administrative tasks.
Who is a good fit for this role?
You do not need to fit into a specific box. The most important qualities are that you:
- Have technical understanding and interest in offshore equipment and components
- May be trained as a marine engineer, mechanic, offshore operator, or have practical experience
- Thrive in a fast-moving environment with continuous tasks and collaborate closely with your colleagues.
- Can work independently on tasks, with support from colleagues whenever needed.
- Have basic IT skills and a willingness to learn
Experience with warehouse work and a forklift license is an advantage, but not a requirement.
In short
This is a job for you if you enjoy movement, responsibility, and meaningful work, and you want to be part of a company where recycling, quality, and safety are key.
If you can see yourself in this role, even if you do not meet every requirement, we would very much like to hear from you.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage diversity in our workplace.
Interviews will be held on a rolling basis, and we reserve the right to close the position once the right candidate is found.
