About the Position:
As an Assistant Manager, your primary tasks will include assisting our Cleaning Manager with planning and executing tasks, reporting on project progress, conducting various inspections, and ensuring that our dedicated team has everything they need to carry out their work.
We will provide the necessary training and courses to prepare you thoroughly for the role.
You’ll become part of a small team where collaboration and communication are key elements of daily life.
The team's focus is to identify, clean, and remove environmentally hazardous materials as part of preparing large offshore structures for dismantling and recycling, with a main focus on safety and environmental responsibility.
Therefore, ongoing internal and external training will be held to ensure we consistently meet our responsibilities regarding safe and environmentally sound recycling.
About You:
You are either a certified marine engineer, ship mechanic, or have other relevant experience.
You thrive with challenges, work well with others, show a stable level of initiative, and can manage multiple tasks at once.
Whether you are a recent graduate or experienced is not essential, what matters most is that you contribute actively and with dedication to the team.
Experience from the maritime world, the offshore sector, or with a marine-focused education is an advantage.
Familiarity with P&IDs is a crucial part of the job.
You may also have previous experience in a similar role and therefore hold relevant certifications, such as:
- Asbestos: Safety and Handling
- ADR certificate
- Chemical handling
- Hazardous waste management
- Chemical safety
The position is flexible, and you will have the opportunity to shape your workday in collaboration with your colleagues.
Strong communication skills in English are essential, as it is our primary working language.
