CBS Student Research Assistant - Danish Power Inquiry Project
At the Department of Organization, we are looking for a student assistant with a strong qualitative profile to support projects within the Danish Power Inquiry 2.0 (Magtudredningen 2.0) - an ambitious and multi-year initiative investigating contemporary power structures in Denmark. The position will primarily be part of projects under the Danish Power Inquiry 2.0 focusing on inequality and freedom of expression at universities and university colleges.
Work tasks
The project is led by Professor Nanna Mik-Meyer, who is also a part of the management team of the Danish Power Inquiry 2.0. In addition to supporting work conducted in the two projects, you will contribute to other activities as well.
The role involves a variety of research and administrative tasks, including desktop-based data collection, organisation of data (documents, interviews, meetings), coding of data, mapping of academic literature, coordination of meetings etc.
Your workplace will be the Department of Organization, CBS.
Qualifications
The selected candidate is expected to have the following qualifications:
- A strong profile in social sciences, including experience with qualitative methodologies
- A good command of both English and Danish
- The ability to work independently and professionally with assigned tasks
Payment and hire
Employment will take place according to the HK organization agreement and the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Tax and Public Employees’ Organizations (OAO-S Joint Agreement).
The salary is between DKK 141.14 to DKK 148.06 and depends on previous employment within the office subject and level of education. The pension contribution amounts to 16 % of the pensionable salary components.
- Working hours: The job requires 12 hours a week and will be remunerated according to the price per hour established by the university.
- Applicants must be actively enrolled students in the employment period.
- The position offers considerable flexibility in working hours, including the possibility to adjust schedule during exam periods.
