Clinical Dietitian - University of Copenhagen Research Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and independent Clinical Dietitian to support our efforts in the field of nutritional assessment and diet prescription to commence on 01/12/2025 and for a total of 13 months (until 31/12/2026) with possibility of extension.
About us
Our group conducts clinical research into nutrition and health. We perform a variety of dietary interventions throughout the life course, involving children, pregnant females, adults with and without obesity, and elderly individuals. Our interventions can include changing how much, what, or when people eat—that is, we manipulate calorie content, macronutrient content, or eating time. We work either with diet prescription, where we instruct our research volunteers what to eat, or with diet provision, where we provide all food to the volunteers. In all instances, assessment of the habitual diet, and appropriate guidance to the experimental diet to ensure compliance are essential to the success of our research.
Your tasks
You will join a multi-disciplinary research team working with diet as a tool to improve health outcomes. Your tasks will include dietary assessment, diet prescription, design of experimental diets and menus, and dietetic counselling of research participants. When needed and if time permits, you will be expected to contribute to and support the ongoing research projects in the group on an ad hoc basis. Please also note that the nature of research occasionally requires early visits on some days (before 9am) or late visits on other days (after 5pm), i.e. a flexible working time plan.
