The Global Supply Chain Manager at ABENA is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for shaping and executing ABENA's global supply chain strategy in close collaboration with the COO. This position is designed to consolidate and elevate supply chain activities across all regions and business units, ensuring alignment with ABENA’s overall business objectives and driving operational excellence on a global scale.
At a strategic level, the Global Supply Chain Manager leads the transformation from a locally focused, operational supply chain to a globally integrated, data-driven function. This involves developing and implementing processes for procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and master data management, with a strong emphasis on digitalization and ERP deployment (SAP). The role is accountable for optimizing inventory management, reducing working capital, and improving outbound delivery performance across multiple sites.
A key aspect of the position is fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team, leveraging analytics and demand planning to enhance forecast accuracy, reduce inventory binding, and elevate service levels. The manager acts as a change agent, driving change management initiatives and ensuring that supply chain strategies are deployed effectively throughout the organization.
Collaboration is key in this position; you will work across business units, regions, and technical departments to identify and develop efficiency potentials. Additionally, you will focus on optimizing direct deliveries to enhance our overall supply chain efficiency at ABENA.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Shape and execute global supply chain strategies in alignment with ABENA’s business goals and the COO.
- Lead the transformation to a globally integrated, data-driven supply chain, including digitalization and ERP (SAP) deployment.
- Optimize inventory management and delivery performance across multiple sites through effective planning and forecasting.
- Drive continuous improvement and change management, monitoring performance metrics and implementing enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and develop efficiency opportunities.
- Lead and develop global supply chain analytics and demand planning teams to foster professional growth and synergy.

- Proven track record within an operational and/or strategic Supply Chain role with a global scope and framework
- Strong holistic business understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and international trade regulations
- Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and process optimization
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as being proactive in addressing potential problems on the horizon before they emerge as issues
- English skills: verbally and in writing, professional/negotiation level
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in stakeholder management
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic landscape and make sound decisions to secure clarity of direction and sustained performance
