Housekeeping Supervisor - Selected Homes Aarhus

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and participate in the cleaning and preparation of our apartments. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will ensure our high standards are consistently met, coordinate and support the housekeeping team, and help create excellent experiences for our guests.

This role combines hands-on cleaning duties with leadership and organizational responsibilities — making you a key contributor to both operations and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities: Cleaning & preparation (hands-on tasks)

Cleaning apartments, including:

  • Vacuuming, mopping floors, dusting
  • Cleaning bathrooms and showers
  • Restocking cleaning supplies

Preparing apartments for new guests:

  • Making beds and arranging furniture properly
  • Setting out towels and other necessities
  • Quality control and reporting on facilities
  • Assessing and reporting any damage or misuse

Maintaining facilities and inventory:

  • Replacing broken or empty items (light bulbs, cleaning products, etc.)
  • Maintaining furniture and equipment
  • Deep-cleaning apartments, machinery, and equipment
  • Contributing to excellent guest experiences through clean and attractive facilities

Supervision & coordination:

  • Supervising, motivating, and supporting the housekeeping team
  • Training new team members in cleaning procedures, standards, and reporting
  • Ensuring that all apartments meet company standards before guest arrivals
  • Performing quality checks on completed work and providing feedback
  • Monitoring inventory levels and keeping the stockroom organized
  • Reporting to management on team performance, maintenance issues, and guest feedback

Success criteria:

  • Consistently high cleanliness and presentation standards in all apartments
  • Positive guest feedback and strong satisfaction scores
  • A motivated, efficient housekeeping team delivering quality work on time
  • Basic skills with apps and technology-solutions

We expect you to:

  • Have experience in housekeeping or cleaning
  • Be organized, dependable, and able to lead by example
  • Feel confident supervising and supporting a small team
  • Manage your time effectively and help others prioritize tasks
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs and schedules
  • Take responsibility for the overall quality of the apartments and guest experience

We offer:

  • Hourly wage between 140DKK - 150DKK (Depending on experience)
  • Working hours: 0–25 hours/week (Works starts between 09:00 / 10:00 and finishes between 13:00 - 16:00)

  • The position begins with a 3-month probation period, during which the notice period is 14 days. After the probation period, the notice period is 1 month to the end of a month.
