Mission
Summary:
This individual works in the Production department performing a variety of possible tasks that involve everything with salads, fruits, vegetables, sandwiches, desserts, and other food items that require to be in cold temperatures to remain fresh. This may entail preparing and setting up the airline trays with the appropriate sandwiches, fruits, salads, etc. This person may also be involved with slicing and cutting fruits, vegetables, and other foods. Although the individual may not do all the responsibilities mentioned below, employees must be willing and able to perform the tasks below as assignments change frequently and without notice.
Essential tasks:
· Load carts and trolleys with platters, dishes, utensils, and containers.
· Collect serving trays and arrange plates in trays by following the instructions and guidelines.
· When loading trays into the trolleys, ensure they are placed appropriately within the frame of the rack.
· Assist in setting up and packaging special meals and ingredients.
· Complete defined packaging schedule as assigned by supervisor or manager.
· Edit and organize labels outside and inside for the scheduled production of the day.
· Perform proper food packaging and storing based on safety requirements and customer's instructions.
· Tag every rack, tray, and trolley according to company's standards and processes.
· Ensure that left-over ingredients and packaging material are properly labeled and returned in the dry storage, cooler or packaging material storage.
· Follow all process control documentation.
· Bring trays and packaging material from the warehouse and waiting area.
· Ensure proper and timely recording of activities.
· Report any unsanitary practice and/or unsafe condition.
· Make sure trolleys are properly identified, secured and moved away from chemicals and hazardous substances.
· Follow all food safety, health and safety, company rules and standards.
· Regular and timely attendance is expected for the position.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/experience requirements:
· No experience required, but any experience in fast-paced environments is helpful.
Qualifications:
· Must be comfortable working in a cold environment – occasionally.
· Ability to read and follow specifications and instructions in English
· Ability to work quickly and safely
· Ability to show flexibility in working in various areas of the department
· Ability to know how one's performance affects the areas before and after you
· Ability to read and speak to understand instructions from supervisors and co-workers.
· Speak Danish or English
· Be a Danish or Swedish residence (mandatory).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to occasionally cold temperature environment. The individual is required to stand or walk for the entire shift (there are breaks however).
Working hours and others:
This is a full-time position, but the specific weekly working hours depend on the shift. You will have to work weekends. You must have permission to work in Denmark and be able to complete a security check, which among other things, require a clean criminal record.
