Machine Operator at BIBS - Sustainable Packaging in Hillerød

If so, apply now and BIBS' growing production team where you can help shape the future of sustainable packaging!   We are currently are looking for two machine operators for both the evening and night team at BIBS in Hillerød. The job is a Try & Hire position, where you will be employed on a three month contract with the possibility of a permanent contract afterwards.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of thermoforming machinery used in blister packaging. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all blister packs meet quality and safety standards while maximizing efficiency in production.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• To set up, calibrate, and operate thermoforming machines according to production schedules and product specifications.
• To monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to maintain consistent product quality.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting issues, performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance to avoid downtime.
• Conducting regular quality checks on finished products to meet company and regulatory standards.
• To ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborating with production and quality teams to improve processes and productivity.

The working hours can either from 3 PM to 11 PM from Monday-Friday or from 11 PM to 7 AM on Monday to Friday. Please state in your application if you are interested in both or only of the timings.   We are looking for: To thrive in this position, it is important that you have experience with operating assembly machines and that you are mechanically skilled.

• Has proven experience operating assembly machines, with knowledge of various plastics and materials.
• Has Strong mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues.
• Is detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Has the ability to read and interpret machine specifications, blueprints, and quality control documents.
• Practises excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Forklift certification is an advantage
