Part-Time Autism Support Assistant - Copenhagen
We are looking for someone to help us with our son Casper (7) who has been diagnosed with Autism. Casper is a very lively and happy child, but he does not speak and needs lot of supervision. We are working with Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) that requires regular training sessions.
Your tasks
Your task would be to take care of casper 3 to 4 hours per day, on 2 days per week, play with him, take him outside and assist us with his training. Additionally, we would like you to spend some time with him during one or two weekend days per month.
Who we are looking for:
- A person who likes to work with children, for example student of psychology, pedagogy or other related field.
- You should be resourceful and able to work independently. There will be days when you have to improvise.
- You should like to work with children and (any experience beneficial)
- Fluent English is a requirement. Knowledge of German, Swedish and/or Danish would be beneficial.
What we offer
- Regular work hours, between 8 to 12 hours/week.
- Training in foundations of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA).
- Workplace central in Copenhagen.
- An hourly wage of 150kr
