Pastry Chef - Compass Group Denmark (Central Copenhagen)

Are you a skilled baker or pastry chef with a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail?

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our in-house pastry team at one of our exclusive clients in central Copenhagen.

Your new team
Our team produces bread, laminated pastries, cakes, chocolates and candies for our two in-house cafés/bakeries, state-of-the-art meeting and conference center and a rooftop venue.

Our wide-ranging and high-volume production creates a dynamic pastry kitchen where a methodical, organized professional with high attention to detail will thrive.

Your role
You will be responsible for the production and baking of laminated dough across all departments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with both laminated and yeasted doughs to produce croissants, traditional Danish pastry, cardamom buns, cinnamon rolls, and other specialty items
  • Managing the full process from production and proofing to baking of all items
  • Ensuring consistent quality, cleanliness, and optimal stock levels
  • Following high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Ordering and maintaining the stock of raw ingredients

Who are you?
We are looking for someone who:

  • Is punctual and comfortable with early morning hours
  • Is a responsible professional who takes initiative in their section
  • Shows integrity, consistency, and a high standard of craftsmanship
  • Communicates and collaborates well across multiple teams in a large facility
  • Has experience in bakery or pastry production, is eager to learn, and enjoys sharing knowledge
  • Works with precision, structure and strong attention to detail

What we offer

  • Full-time position: 37 hours per week
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 04:00–12:00 (most weekends off)
  • Employment under the collective agreement with 3F, including pension, personal choice account, and more
