Management Accountant / Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the finance team and gain broad exposure to financial operations, including:

• Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
• Controlling and reviewing of bookkeeping across general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Supporting Head of Finance with various analysis
• Assisting with cash flow tracking and short-term forecasts as per guidance
• Working with multiple systems - ERP, reservation system and OCR system
• VAT handling and reconciliations (Danish and potentially international VAT)
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and bookkeeping regulations
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing documentation for monthly and annual financial statements
• Collaborating with external auditors and advisors
• Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes and procedures

Your Profile

We expect that you:

• Hold a degree in auditing, accounting, finance (e.g. cand.merc.aud., HD(R), or similar)
• Are at the early stage of your career and motivated to learn and grow
• Have a solid understanding of bookkeeping, VAT, and accounting principles
• Work in a structured and detail-oriented manner
• Have strong IT skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g. Business Central, or similar)
• Are analytical, responsible, and comfortable working independently
• Are fluent in English
• Proficiency in Danish is considered an advantage
