The Umbraco SUITS team is looking for a talented person who will help us expand the use of the Umbraco CMS in Europe and the rest of the world!

The Team

The Sales Development Team consists of three existing members who are engaged in customer meetings, helping customers with commercial questions, supporting Sales Managers in pipeline management and progression, and executing excellent outreach. This team fosters a vibrant team culture, celebrating victories and organizing quarterly team-building activities. Past events include beer brewing, pottery making, and spa days, enhancing the camaraderie that fuels our success. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated individual to join us in this entry-level role and build a strong foundation for their career in sales.

The Role

The purpose of this Sales Development role is to be responsible for maintaining and reactivating relationships with past leads and opportunities and keeping the pipeline warm and growing. The role focuses on both re-engagement and outreach to new accounts when needed. SDR supports Sales Managers by keeping an overview of interesting past opportunities, maintaining consistent communication, and stepping in to assist with inbound leads if volume requires it.

Responsibilities

After going through comprehensive training, where you will learn all about our software and services, your responsibilities will be:

  • Re-engagement: Engages with opportunities after initial rejection or during the pipeline to reawaken interest.
  • Lead Nurturing: Supports ongoing communication and follow-up with past leads.
  • Outreach: Conduct targeted outreach to accounts or sectors of strategic interest.
  • Collaboration with Sales Managers: Collaboration with the Enterprise and Partner Managers and Growth team. Audience includes a mix of enterprise and partner accounts
  • Lead Support: Step in to support inbound lead qualification and handling during peak volumes or when the broader SDR team reaches capacity.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate, real-time records and data integrity within Zoho CRM.
  • Market Intelligence: Research accounts, markets, and stakeholders

Over time your work will also include:

  • Attending relevant conferences.
  • Suggesting improvements or ideas in the process of increasing the usage of Umbraco.
  • Potentially taking responsibility for closing smaller deals as opportunities arise.

Language:

  • Are fluent in English (English is our company language)
  • Nordic Language (and/or Arabic) is a plus

Your professional setup:

  • You recently graduated from, an area of studies relevant to this position i.e. sales, marketing, communications, or even computer science, and/or have an interest in sales
  • Have communication skill - you will be interacting with customers daily
  • Prior experience in office-based roles, sales or business development, or customer-facing positions is a plus
  • Have knowledge of a CRM system (not a need, but a plus)

Practicalities

Job type: Full-time position 37 hours/week

Location: Umbraco HQ, Buchwaldsgade 35, 2nd floor, 5000 Odense

Hybrid Flexibility: Following an initial onboarding and starting period, a hybrid work setup is possible. This is coordinated directly with the Team Lead to ensure the schedule aligns with team needs and collaboration goals.

Start Date: Preferably 1st of April
