Your position
You lead the strategy for running an Operational Control Center and provide conditions for the team to develop, growth, and entering new countries over time. It means that you are responsible for ensuring best uptime of wind farms/OSS within our fleet by overseeing critical infrastructure and portfolio scalability readiness. This you will succeed in based on your strong skills in balancing technical expertise with people leadership for day-to-day fleet reliability, 24/7 support, and performance monitoring as well as reporting.
Your tasks & responsibilities
Your tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Leadership: hiring, training, coaching, and setting goals for department staff
- Organisation structure for Control & Data Center
- Establish escalation models and processes with Level 2 & Level 3 ensuring a unified operational approach
- Remote operation procedure (ROP) development, implementation, and governance
- Automation and auto-reset expansion
- Database structure for asset data signals
- Data-driven alarm handling
- Operation performance monitoring and reporting
- Portfolio scalability readiness
- Align roles in Control & Data Center.

Your profile & qualifications
You are dedicated, proactive, and responsible with a positive attitude. You have strong collaboration and communication skills. You have experience in building and leading an Operational Control Center (OCC) with deep knowledge and an analytical mindset on how an Operational Control Center (OCC) is managed. You work disciplined and goal-oriented, and you have a systematic and structured approach to your tasks.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- a bachelor’s and master’s degree in engineering
- 10+ years of relevant experience (wind turbines or similar products within renewables).
- knowledge in the field of operational management of wind farms and wind turbines
- worked with Emersons Ovation Green tool or similar tools
- fluency in English (spoken and written); Danish and German skills are preferred for this role
- willingness to travel internationally as required (approx. 60 days/year)
The Operational Control Center (OCC) is placed in Emden, Germany. However, you don’t have to be located in Germany, It may live in Denmark, but you should be willing to go there frequently.
