Are you eager to dive into the world of renewable energy and gain hands-on experience at the forefront of the green transition? As our new Student Assistant in Product Line Management, you will become part of the core function driving the development of future offshore substation solutions within our Renewables Division.
Your position
In your new position as Student Assistant in Product Line Management within the Renewables Division, you will join a dedicated team responsible for developing, shaping and optimising Semco Maritime’s substation product portfolio. The team’s mission is to create innovative, modular and future-proof solutions that strengthen our role as a market leader in offshore substations.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or our office in Nordhavn. This is a part-time student position, and we offer flexible working hours to fit your studies. No travel is expected for this role.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Student Assistant in PLM, you will play an important role in supporting our product development and optimisation efforts while working closely with experienced specialists and engineers.
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the development and optimisation of product lines through analyses, data collection and documentation
- Assisting in the creation of technical material, design descriptions and presentations
- Collaborating with engineering disciplines, project management and supply chain on cross-functional tasks
- Participating in product development workshops and internal meetings to ensure alignment across functions
- Supporting and adhering to health, safety and environmental standards in all activities
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a positive and curious engineering student with a strong interest in product development, energy infrastructure and technical solutions. You work in a structured manner, enjoy learning new things and thrive in a cross-disciplinary environment.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- An ongoing engineering degree, e.g. electrical, marine or mechanical engineering
- Experience with programming (e.g Python)
- Interest in product development and technical solutions
- Experience with, or interest in, technical documentation and analytical work
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Solid English skills, both written and spoken
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn from colleagues and new challenges
