Student Assistants for the Department of Economics

We are looking for student assistants that are interested in working at the Experimental Laboratory at the Center of Experimental Economics.

The positions comprise assisting with
All practical aspects associated with the preparation and assisting in the implementation of experiments, such as recruiting students as participants, communicating with researchers, preparing materials and running experimental sessions in a team of 2-3 lab assistants.

The team decides on the scheduling of experiments and how tasks are divided among the group, making the workload and time very flexible. As our experiments are usually computer-based, some programming experience is an advantage. It is not a prerequisite, however.

We envision that you have at least 2 years left of your studies.

Terms and conditions
The employment is made in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Organisations of Public Employees – governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) and under the Professional Agreement for clerical employees, laboratory technicians and IT officers in the state.
The minimum wage is DKK 142,97 (1 november 2025-level). Your salary will be based on seniority.

To be considered for the position, you must be enrolled as a student at university level and an active student.

Starting date is 1st of July 2026.

Additional information
The workload is 4 hours per week in average. There may be opportunities for extra hours when a larger experiment is running.
