Experienced Tandoor Chef Wanted to Bring Aut-hentic Flavors to DHABA Culinary Team

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tandoor Chef to join our culinary team and bring the aut-hentic flavors of traditional Indian to our customers. The ideal candidate will have adeepunderstanding of tandoor cooking techniques, including preparation of meats, bread,andvegetables, and be skilled at operating and maintaining a tandoor oven. This rolerequires apassion for tandoori dishes, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality andconsi-stency in each dish served.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation & Cooking

Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor dishes, such as tandoori chicken, lamb ke-babs,naan, roti, and other clay oven-baked items, ensuring quality and presenta-tionstandards are consistently met.

Handle and prepare marinades, spice mixtures, and other ingredients to enhancetheauthenticity and flavor of tandoor dishes.

Effectively operate, monitor, and control the temperature of the tandoor oventoachieve the desired cooking results.

Kitchen Maintenance & Hygiene

Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the tandoor oven, utensils, andworkarea.

Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times, maintaining a clean, or-ganized, and safe work environment.

Manage inventory and coordinate the restocking of spices, ingredients, andsuppliesneeded for tandoori cooking.

Recipe & Menu Development

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new tandoori items and seasonal spe-cialties that align with customer preferences and restaurant standards.

Stay updated on culinary trends to introduce creative, high-quality tandoorofferings.

Quality Assurance

Consistently monitor the quality, freshness, and presentation of all tandooriitems,ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ensure that all food is prepared quickly and efficiently, following orderspecificationsand serving standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tandoor Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurantsetting.

• In-depth knowledge of tandoori cooking techniques, traditional spices, marinades,andflavor profiles.

• Experience working with and maintaining a tandoor oven.
