IT Operations Manager - MinervaX Biotech

Job description
As the IT Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery and maintenance of the global operational environment and IT systems at MinervaX. You will be responsible for developing and implementing IT operational strategies that align with the company’s business goals, overseeing the creation, build up and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.

The position is a strategic and hands-on role within a growing pharmaceutical company, where you will shape the IT landscape to meet regulatory demands and support business needs.

Main job functions in details

  • Management and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system availability, reliability, compliance and performance.
  • Developing and implementing IT operational strategies in alignment with the company’s business goals and procedural documents.
  • Implementation of robust IT security measures, ensuring regular security audits are conducted.
  • Implementation, oversight and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Identifying potential IT related quality gaps and contributing to continuous improvement of the existing quality system within IT.
  • Acting as ambassador for IT security awareness.
  • Managing relationships, contracts and SLAs with external IT vendors.
  • Planning and executing IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on implementation of computerized systems and compliance oversight.

The ideal candidate

  • MSc in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
  • 5–8 years in an IT-related role within life science.
  • Strong vendor management, IT infrastructure, and Microsoft technologies (M365, Entra ID, Azure Cloud).
  • Familiarity with FDA and EMA regulations.
  • Preferably experience with EQMS/EDMS (e.g., Veeva QualityDocs).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English.

MinervaX is a Danish biotech company founded in 2010, developing a vaccine against Group B Streptococcus (GBS) for maternal immunization. The IT Operations Manager position is new and based at MinervaX HQ, Nordre Fasanvej 215, Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. The role reports to the CFO.
