SDU Student Research Assistant - Electronics Research

The Centre for Industrial Electronics (CIE), part of the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IME) within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), is offering two part-time student research assistant positions (10 hours/week). Employment period: 13 October 2025 - 12 October 2026.

Research Focus: Selected candidates will contribute to the fabrication and characterization of:

  • Electrolytic capacitors
  • Metallized film capacitors

Required Qualifications:

  • Theoretical knowledge of advanced electronics

  • Hands-on experience in capacitor fabrication and characterization

  • Familiarity with advanced techniques such as:

    • Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
    • Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)

Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant or Academic Supervisor must be enrolled as student at SDU.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).

In case you have not yet had an examination at SDU, the enrollment confirmation instead of the exam transcript must be annexed your application.
