Temporary Multimedia Designer at ABENA - Digital Creative Role

At ABENA, we’re looking for a temporary creative colleague starting as soon as possible as a Multimedia Designer in Aabenraa to join our team and help us keep our creative momentum going, while our colleague is away for three months celebrating his paternity leave.

Your main focus will be crafting engaging materials for our Bambo Nature segment and beyond, across all kinds of media and channels. You’ll join a supportive, idea-driven team where we share knowledge, inspire each other, and keep creativity at the heart of what we do. Your days will be varied - one moment you might be refreshing our Shopify storefront another creating a SoMe post or blog graphic, the next you’re working on a flyer or brochure.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across the organization to make sure our visual communication is clear, consistent, and always evolving. Success here means creating designs that support both everyday needs and big campaigns, helping us maintain a strong brand identity, and being open to new digital challenges as they come.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Help shape a strong visual identity across channels, using tools within Adobe Creative Suite.
• Deliver designs for both campaigns and day-to-day tasks, keeping things on track and on time.
• Take ownership of graphic communication and contribute to keeping our design guide fresh and relevant.
• Work closely with colleagues across departments and countries to turn ideas into clear, engaging visuals.
• Translate input and customer insights into designs that speak to B2B, B2C, B2R, and B2G audiences.
• Be ready to jump into new digital tasks, even if they’re unfamiliar, and ask for help when needed.

What we hope you bring

• Proficiency within Shopify and a range of design tools—Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and video editing software
• Experience in creating visually engaging content tailored to different media and audiences and understand SEO to support digital visibility .
• Communicate effectively in English and work confidently in planning tools like Monday.
• Turn complex or technical information into clear, digestible visual communication.
• Prepare print-ready files and manage versioning in tools like InDesign/InLayout.
• Proactive approach – not being afraid to take initiative – and being able to challenge the team whenever called upon
