Job

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to take charge of daily operations and ensure smooth and efficient service. The right candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring the restaurant runs profitably and professionally.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Manage and train kitchen and service staff, ensuring teamwork and professionalism.
• Handle staff scheduling, attendance, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation.
• Manage stock levels, place supply orders, and control food costs and waste.
• Support in menu planning and collaboration with the head chef for new items or promotions.
• Handle cash management, POS operations, and basic accounting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Danish labour, safety, and food regulations.
• Represent the restaurant positively to customers, suppliers, and local authorities.

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a restaurant manager or waitress (preferably in Indian or South Indian cuisine).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a multicultural team and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; Danish language is an advantage but not required.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
• Positive attitude, customer-oriented mindset, and passion for hospitality.
