Position Description

As the Operations Specialist Used Cars, you will be part of Used Car Operations team & work cross-functionally with Sales, Service & Delivery teams to plan, coordinate, and track vehicle pre-intake operations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong can-do attitude, ability to work on multiple business segments simultaneously and be motivated to innovate and strive for daily marginal gains. This role directly supports Tesla’s focus on the rapid growth of Certified Pre-Owned Program & broader used car operations.

In this role, you will be a liaising with teams at Certified Pre-Owned sites, delivery hubs service teams as well as be customer-facing to private individuals and business accounts in terms of vehicle trade-ins, vehicle purchasing & TFS vehicle returns. This role will involve driving vehicle purchasing from auction & finance partners, incoming vehicle analysis and pipeline management, accurate data processing & reporting. Additional duties will include supporting wider Used Car Operations team on vehicle logistics, readiness & listing aspects. The successful candidate will need to have exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. They must also be able to work collaboratively with different teams and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. This role will play a critical part in the success of Tesla's Used Car Operations.

This role offers an adaptable working arrangement, making it well suited to candidates balancing studies or other commitments alongside professional responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Listing of CPO vehicles on third party portal
  • Vehicle purchasing pricing & risk analysis with local senior management & PricingEMEA.
  • Acquisition management on AMP platform.
  • Operational flow assurance (with Order Ops EMEA and Finance Ops EMEA)
  • Vehicle validation checks (HPI checks, Lienholder settlements, private plates, etc)
  • Outbound customer comms, point of contact for delivery hubs, escalation handling.
  • Trade in annex/used car purchasing agreement compliance for acquired assets.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Danish is required, along with the ability to communicate, read and write effectively in English.
  • Administrative, automotive experience preferred.
  • Ability to analyse and extrapolate data independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals.
  • Great problem-solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Positivity, enthusiasm, and a passion towards the mission of Tesla.
  • Confident in learning and adapting to multiple technologies.
  • Have the required language skills if required by our local markets.
  • Working knowledge of legacy/discontinued Tesla vehicle trims is a plus.
