Project & Tender Engineer – Firefighting, Esbjerg

Your position
You will join our Firefighting team of 9 specialists. The team is responsible for everything from creating the tender to project completion. Our projects range from DKK 0.5 million to DKK 40 million and cover everything from inert gas suppression systems to self-contained foam systems.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 10-30 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
You know how to coordinate and manage the steps of a project/tender independently or in collaboration with your colleagues. Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing commercial and technical proposals for firefighting systems, based on customers’ enquiries and requirements.
• Finding and documenting the right technical solutions while engaging with our technical teams, HSEQ, Procurement and other relevant departments.
• Facilitating factory acceptance test
• Engineering and documentation and providing advice/assistance to installation/site supervision and commissioning activities when required
• Submission to customers and prompt resolution to comments, if any
• Working together with the Procurement team to ensure that approved project purchases are in accordance with pre-approved costs, ensuring quality and compatibility
• Practising good HSE standards

Your profile & qualifications

• Knowledge of firefighting systems
• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with project management and tender processes
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Fluency in Danish and English with a commercial mindset
