Student Assistant for Events & Partnerships - DTU
DTU Talent Partner is a program for larger engineering corporations in Denmark. Each partner can participate in 4+ events annually focused on Employer Branding, Recruitment, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, through workshops, career fairs, and roundtable networking events.
About DTU Partnerships
You’ll join the Partnership Office in the Office for Research, Advice, and Innovation - a core support function with ~25 colleagues dedicated to building stronger ties between academia and industry.
What you will do
- Event coordination (planning, logistics, facilitation, on-the-day execution).
- Ability to work evenings, as many of our events take place after 17:00.
- Present/Facilitate at events - grab the mic, energize the room, and keep sessions running smoothly.
- Support pre- and post-event data collection + feedback
- Assist with analyses and PowerPoint for ongoing projects.
- Support partner recruitment in our scaling phase (e.g., prospect research)
- SoMe knowledge is a plus but not a requirement
You’ll work with 30-plus innovation-driven companies.
What you bring
- Enrolled in a relevant university program.
- Confidence and being comfortable presenting at events.
- Proactive problem-solver who finds solutions on the spot.
- Structured, reliable, and a strong team player.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Canva or other design platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written, (Danish is an advantage).

Your primary place of work will be DTU Lyngby Campus, Anker Engelunds Vej 1, 2800 Lyngby. Working from home will be possible to some extent.
Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organizations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State) §35.
Working hours are on average 15 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is 1st of March (or according to mutual agreement). The employment runs as long as you are an active student.
