Bergs Potter Product Operations Specialist - Copenhagen
Product Operations Specialist with Drive and an Eye for Detail
Do you enjoy nurturing projects from seed to full bloom?
Are you the kind of person who ties the loose ends across teams and ensures that great ideas get the best conditions to grow?
And are you motivated by creating structure that helps product launches flourish?
At Bergs Potter, we have been uniting timeless design with traditional craftsmanship for more than 80 years – creating products that last for generations. From our office in Copenhagen NV, we collaborate with family-owned workshops in Italy, Portugal, and Poland, and today our products are sold by retailers in more than 35 markets worldwide.
We are now looking for a Product Operations Specialist to join our Product Department in a newly established role. You will become the fourth member of the team and an important sparring partner for our Chief Product Officer (CPO).
This role has been created to strengthen the processes, product launches, and cross-functional projects that don’t fit neatly into either product development & design or supply chain.
You’ll play a central role in building structure and momentum for everything from product launches, packaging development, and FSC certification to sample handling, trade fair coordination, and custom orders.
About the role
As our new Product Operations Specialist, you’ll join a product team currently consisting of a Product Developer, a Supply Chain Coordinator, and our CPO. Collaboration with other departments – particularly Brand/Marketing and Sales – will be close, especially around product launches.
Over time, we see you as the one holding the full overview of our product pipeline and launches – proactively leading key projects, processes, and business improvements. You’ll help raise the level of how we drive projects at Bergs Potter while freeing up the management team to focus more on strategy, partnerships, and business development.
You’ll be responsible for both your own projects and coordination tasks, and in time also become the main contact for selected suppliers. Some travel may be part of the role (approx. 10–20 days per year).
Key responsibilities
Coordination and recurring tasks
- Drive product launches: structure, planning, follow-up, cross-department coordination, and presentation material.
- Maintain price lists and master data.
- Support major development projects and events (e.g. trade fairs, 3 Days of Design).
Cross-functional coordination
- Take ownership of projects and tasks that fall between departments.
- Act as a bridge between product development, supply chain, sales, brand/marketing, and external partners.
Future projects you will lead or support
- Packaging updates and development of new packaging solutions.
- Establishment of a CUS program (processes, guidelines, and custom orders).
- Dual-sourcing projects for existing products.
- Introduction and implementation of a PIM system.
- Process optimization in connection with product launches.
- Compliance
About you
We imagine that you:
- Have strong organizational skills and thrive juggling many tasks at once.
- Work independently, are structured, and balance attention to detail with an overview of the bigger picture.
- Have commercial understanding and can translate insights into business value.
- Bring a few years of experience with project management, product launches, or operational coordination – ideally from a product-driven, design, lifestyle, or FMCG company.
- Are comfortable working with both Danish and international partners.
- Don’t need to know everything from day one – what matters most is that you are eager to take responsibility, learn fast, and think for yourself.
What we offer
- A central role in an ambitious lifestyle brand with plenty of room to grow.
- The chance to strengthen Bergs Potter’s product department and ensure projects and processes are brought safely across the finish line.
- A culture built on entrepreneurial spirit, shared responsibility, and a positive “can do” attitude.
- Great development opportunities and a high degree of independence.
- Salary based on qualifications.
- Full-time position with immediate start.
- Workplace at our Copenhagen NV headquarters with lunch service, pension, and health insurance.
