About FLC:

At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are responsible for designing and constructing the immersed tunnel, portals and ramps on both ends of the tunnel, in Rødbyhavn and Puttgarden.

We are also building the facilities for prefabricating tunnel elements as well as accommodation facilities, also known as the “Tunnel village” in Rødbyhavn, which provides housing for FLC workers.

About the department:

FLC is looking for an IT supporter to join our dynamic IT organization.

From our office in Rødby, Denmark, you will provide support to our colleagues via our helpdesk with everything from software and hardware to PC, network and servers. This is done by mail, face to face and out in the field in a very large-scale Construction Site, which at times, also will be in Germany.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

You will become part of a strong and professional team with an informal tone, in a, at times, hectic, unpredictable and dynamic environment.

The team’s work form is based on cooperation, flexibility, trust and freedom with responsibility for own tasks – referring to the IT Support Manager.

Your daily work will often take place wearing full PPE – Personal Protective Equipment, safety clothing, helmet etc. and you should not be afraid to get dirty.

Buzzwords for the daily operations could be:

• User support
• Image installation
• Printer installation
• Software, from Microsoft to a wide collection of specific tools.
• User administration’
• Physical Network – Switches, UPS, Access points etc.
• Rajant Network

Going forward and after finalized training, you will be included in FLC IT’s On-Call Duty covering 24/7/365.

The technology is mainly Microsoft Servers and clients, Microsoft Office 365, ManageEngine, Unify and more. FLC IT operates a mix of own servers and cloud services, a large and complex network spanning our offices and construction sites in Rødby and on Fehmarn.

Qualifications:

You are an experienced IT Supporter with many years of experience – or not that experienced but have a crush for IT Support and thrive doing this.

You might have an education as an IT Supporter, or you have experience from a job similar to this. That, combined with an understanding for communication, proactiveness and that a high level of engagement is the key for daily IT Support. As much of this is done in English, we expect you to be able to communicate in English – don’t hesitate to apply.
