SDU PhD Administration Student Assistant - Flexible Role

About the Role
You will be part of a well-functioning team that handles everything from legal checks and quality assurance to communication and coordination of PhD education in an international environment. We manage individual study programmes and help shape the future of research training at TEK.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Archiving approved PhD plans and evaluations
  • Verifying and registering study elements in PhD programmes
  • Coordinating assessment committee nominations and evaluations
  • Entering data in PhDManager (our admin system)
  • Creating digital PhD diplomas

You’ll also help with ad hoc tasks when needed.

What We Are Looking For

To apply, you must be enrolled as a student at SDU.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can operate both in Danish and English
  • Has a strong sense of data discipline
  • Is detail-oriented, independent, and responsible
  • Works well with others and communicates clearly in English
  • Learns quickly and adapts to new systems
  • Meets deadlines and keeps agreements
  • Has solid IT skills and can navigate new software
  • Has experience with IT systems in Danish language.
  • Writes well in both Danish and English
  • Understands how things work in a politically governed organization

We use WorkZone, Teams, SharePoint, Sitecore, Survey-Xact and databases – and experience in these is preferred, but not a must.

  • Start date: 1 November 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter
  • Duration: One year, with possibility of extension
  • Location: SDU Odense

Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant or Academic Supervisor must be enrolled as student at SDU.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and HK.

 In case you have not yet had an examination at SDU, the enrollment confirmation instead of the exam transcript must be annexed your application.
