Overall Accountability

The Revenue Operations Specialist is accountable for day-to-day execution and governance of Salesforce-related revenue operations. The role ensures high data quality, efficient deal execution, reliable pipeline hygiene, and effective operational support to Sales. This position absorbs recurring operational responsibilities that should not sit with Salesforce developers or Revenue Operations leadership, directly contributing to improved pipeline velocity, forecast accuracy, and deal quality.

Key Responsibilities

Support Sales teams with opportunity creation, updates, and stage progression in Salesforce
Prepare, validate, and maintain quotes in line with pricing, discount, and approval policies
Perform deal readiness and completeness checks prior to escalation or approval
Serve as first-line operational support for standard and mid-complexity deals
Act as Revenue Operations backup for the Deal Desk function launching in Q1 2026

Own and maintain Salesforce pricebooks, ensuring pricing accuracy, version control, and alignment with approved commercial models
Coordinate pricebook updates with Finance and Revenue Operations leadership
Identify and resolve pricing inconsistencies impacting quoting and deal execution

Own the Salesforce support inbox and resolve Salesforce-related requests
Triage, solve, or escalate issues with clear prioritization and documentation
Produce ad hoc Salesforce reporting to support Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations

Build and operate a recurring cadence for Salesforce hygiene checks on accounts and opportunities
Run weekly pipeline checks ahead of forecast and sales reviews
Execute monthly data quality reviews in collaboration with Finance
Prepare pipeline exception summaries and highlight risks or anomalies

Act as the Revenue Operations point of contact for Salesforce consultants and in-house developers
Own intake, clarification, prioritization, and tracking of Salesforce change requests
Maintain visibility into the Salesforce development pipeline and validate delivered changes

Communicate Salesforce, process, and tooling updates to the Sales organization
Create and maintain lightweight documentation and best-practice guidance
Onboard new Sales employees on Revenue Operations processes and correct use of the tech stack

Ability to manage multiple workstreams and operational queues simultaneously
Comfort enforcing standards and policies across Sales teams
Structured problem-solving and prioritization skills
Clear and professional communication with commercial and technical stakeholders

Professional / Technical Skills

Hands-on experience working in Salesforce as a core operational tool
Strong understanding of opportunity management, pipeline stages, and forecasting mechanics
Experience maintaining pricebooks, quotes, and deal-related data
Ability to produce accurate ad hoc reports and perform data quality analysis in Salesforce
Experience working with Salesforce consultants or internal developers on change requests

Leadership / Soft Skills

Acts as a trusted operational partner to Sales
Demonstrates ownership and accountability for outcomes
Proactively identifies risks, issues, and improvement opportunities
Communicates clearly and confidently across levels of seniority
Maintains composure and structure in time-sensitive deal and forecast situations

Experience & Background

Experience supporting Sales, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or commercial teams
Exposure to B2B SaaS revenue models and sales cycles
Experience working in a CRM-centric operating environment
Prior involvement in deal support, pipeline management, or sales tooling is preferred
